A magnitude 5.3 earthquake hits northern Greece

According to the news released by the Greek Seismological Institute Athens Geodynamics Institute, at 23:43 local time on January 9th, a magnitude 5.3 earthquake occurred near the northern Greek city of Florina.

The epicenter was located 6 kilometers northwest of Florina, and the focal depth was 10 kilometers.
